Boro Tower, the LEED gold certified office high rise at 1750 Tysons Blvd, has its first tenant. Media conglomerate TEGNA Inc., which owns 47 television stations in 39 markets, will move into the tower’s top two floors. TEGNA now occupies 46,000 square feet, including a private market, and a private rooftop lounge with views of everywhere from the Blue Ridge mountains to DC.
In the tower, TEGNA is set to be joined by accounting giant KPMG, law firms Hogan Lovells and Womble Bond Dickinson, and engineering firm Alion Science and Technology.
TEGNA will be the first of many companies to move into the Boro development, an ongoing 15-acre multiphase project which will include 700 residential units, a hotel, a Whole Foods, a Showplace ICON movie theatre, and many other retail outlets, all situated across from the Greensboro metro station.
