Vienna’s free summer block parties start tomorrow

Vienna’s monthly summer block parties, “Chillin’ on Church,” will begin tomorrow, June 21st with a performance by the Deja Gruv Band. The parties are sponsored by Ben and Jerry’s, who will have a food truck on location along with the following vendors:

Blue City Foods– Indian street food
Chix N’ Stix– Wings, chicken tenders, fries, hot dogs 
DC Tapas Truck– Spanish style tapas and sandwiches
DC Slices– Pizza, tater tots and more
Korean BBQ Taco Box– Korean BBQ
NC Ribs on Wheels– BBQ, ribs, turkey legs
Stay Cheesy– Gourmet grilled cheese
Urban Bumpkin BBQ– BBQ fusion
Kona IceShaved ice

Attendees are advised to bring their own blankets and chairs.  BYOB not allowed, but alcohol will be available for purchase.

Although special because of the food and beverage options offered, Chillin’ on Church is just one part of Vienna’s weekly summer concert series.
