Dara Global Arts Gallery to host a Meet the Artist Reception for their current exhibition Radiance by Dayline Sherbondy

TysonsToday Staff Art & Culture

DATE CHANGE: Sunday, October 11, 2020

We miss you and we are cautiously back!

Dara Global Arts Gallery invites you to a Meet the Artist Reception and Gallery Tour on Sunday, October 11, 2020.

Meet Dayline Sherbondy, the artist behind our current exhibition Radiance.

Dayline grew up in Venezuela where she encountered countless forms of art created by kind and happy people. Although the poverty level now affects 85% of Venezuelan families, “I like to remember my county in its happy time, with a memory that is very different to the reality they now experience there,” she says. Note her use of crystals and radiant mica to radiate light and create the illusion of gentle movement throughout her paintings that resemble the intricate veining and reflective qualities of natural geodes.

Reception and Gallery Tours

Enjoy a beautiful reception with food, wine and music in our outside tent (weather permitting) where you can meet and discuss the exhibition with the artist herself after touring the Gallery. All artwork is for sale with portions of the proceeds going to Krines Foundation.
