(the) Unruly Theatre Project (UTP) is The Alden’s professional teen improv company dedicated to bringing comedic productions to the community. Members audition to be in the company for one season and are paid for each performance or workshop they do for the community.

New this year! 8th-11th Graders may participate.

Open Auditions:

Monday, March 1, and Wednesday. March 3, 7-9 p.m. 

Call Backs/Interviews
and Rehearsal with UTP

Thursday, March 4,  approximately 6:30-9 p.m.

All auditions and activities will be held through a password-protected Zoom link.

Information for Auditionees

Prepared monologues, headshots and resumes are not required. There are two days of open auditions (you choose which one works best for you) on March 1 and 3, both nights, 7-9 p.m. Your registration must be received by 6 p.m. on the day of your audition. You will receive a Zoom link about 15 minutes prior to your audition.

New company members will be announced on Monday, March 8.

Please note that until it is deemed safe to gather in person, all UTP activities will be virtual over Zoom (all events require pre-registration and are password protected). To participate, you need internet access. Rehearsal and performances are much easier on a laptop, but it is not required.

MCC offers a continuing program of activities for adults and children, including a wide range of classes, lectures, study tours, camps, art exhibits, theatre performances, and specialty shows.
