At the second community meeting as part of the Town of Vienna’s Maple Avenue Corridor Multimodal Transportation and Land Use Study, information about the impact that future development may have on traffic and walkability along Maple Avenue will be shared. The workshop, which will include small-group activities and discussion, is open to the public and will begin at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, at Vienna Town Hall, 127 Center Street S.
The study, which is taking a look at transportation and mobility needs of the Maple Avenue corridor, is being undertaken by Kimley-Horn, a transportation, planning, and engineering consulting firm with offices around the country.
Study recommendations are expected to be presented late this summer.
