As our area transforms, new luxury apartment buildings continue to open along the Silver Line through Tysons and Reston. In the past several months, two new properties have opened at opposite ends of the Metro through Tysons—Haden in East Tysons and Adaire in the west—and construction is underway or nearing completion on several more.

Modern Luxury Prevails at Adaire

Highgate at Metropolitan Mile

Located on Jones Branch Drive in Tysons, this six-story 395-unit apartment community will include 2,500 square feet of street-level retail. A green building targeting LEED Silver Certification, Highgate is located a half-mile from both the Tysons Corner and Greensboro Metro Stations and is due to be completed in 2017.

Apartment options will include studios and one- and two-bedroom units in addition to a two-level loft option with direct street access. The property will include a rooftop pool terrace, expansive workout facility, zen courtyard and reflecting pool, circular fire-hearth lounge overlooking the courtyard, and a public park with a play area and dog park.

Lumen at Tysons

Adjacent to the Greensboro Metro Station, the 32-story Lumen will include 11,000 square feet of retail space on the ground level. Expected to be completed by the end of 2018, Lumen will offer 398 studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments ranging from 500 to 1,600 square feet.

The Boro

Four buildings will make up The Boro, a mixed-use property consisting of retail, office space and 750 luxury residential units. Located steps from the Greensboro Metro Station and next to Route 7, Greensboro and Westpark Drives, The Boro complex will include a 15-screen ShowPlace ICON Theatre, a 70,000 square foot Whole Foods Market, and a public park.

The Kingston at Anderson Park

The Kingston at Anderson Park, located just north of the Haden near the McLean Metro Station, will include 319 residential units in two towers. Apartment options will include studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units as well as two-story duplex units on the ground floor. The two towers will be connected at the first floor and second floor and by a 10th-floor sky bridge lounge. The project will feature several luxury amenities, including a landscaped courtyard with an outdoor swimming pool and fire pits, a fitness center, a dog washing station, golf simulator, a lounge, fitness center, and rooftop garden.

The Aperture

Leasing is scheduled to begin in spring 2017 on this property located on Reston Station Boulevard near the Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station, the Dulles Toll Road and the W&OD Trail. The property features a salt water pool, pet play area and pet spa, an outdoor kitchen, fitness spaces, a bike repair station and storage space, and a clubroom with entertainment kitchen, fireplace and lounge seating. It also includes 10,000 square feet of retail space on the ground level. The Aperture’s 421 apartments are available in studio, one- and two-bedroom options.

The Signature

Construction on the last residential property in the heart of Reston Town Center is well underway. The Signature features two towers, the 21-story West Tower and the 19-story East Tower, as well as two six-story buildings located on the north and south sides of the property. The Signature will include a total of 508 units, including two-story apartments in the North Low-Rise building. Located within a half-block of the future Reston Town Center Metro Station, The Signature is due to be completed in 2018.
