TYSONS, VA—When the Macy’s at Tysons Galleria closes, there will be room for other businesses on three floors. One report indicates it could include a iPic theater.
Washington Business Journal first reported a staff report for the Fairfax County Planning Commission with illustrations depicting the theater. The drawings include a movie theater, restaurant and outdoor dining. The illustrations were in the staff report for a request for signage change at Tysons Galleria, up for approval by the planning commission.
iPic, which has a location at Pike & Rose in Bethesda, Md., was reportedly in discussions with Tysons Galleria. No official plans for the redevelopment of the three-level Macy’s have been announced. The Macy’s remains open at this time.
