Vienna Art Center to Host Round 2 of Art Benches
Remember the amazing art bench project presented by the Vienna Arts Society back in 2019? Beautiful, hand-painted benches were sponsored by local businesses and placed all over town to create a spectacular Town-wide art installation!
Then, to top it off, they were all auctioned off 6 months later as a fundraiser for the Vienna Arts Center! After 6 months of beautifying Vienna, and drawing attention to their local business sponsors, all of the benches found their forever homes! What a fabulous event!
Well guess what Vienna…It is happening AGAIN!
We are so happy to announce that the Vienna Arts Society (VAS) has decided to host another round of the “Take a Seat Vienna” art bench project in 2023!
Beginning this Fall, a new collection of hand-built benches will be custom painted (and weather treated) by Artists of the Vienna Arts Society.
In The Spring of 2023, the benches will be placed around town for 6 months to create beauty and buzz for local businesses!
Following the public art display, there will be a community auction where all of the benches will be up for bid!
How Can YOU Participate??
Sponsor a Bench
Each bench will be sponsored by a local Vienna business or organization. The sponsorship covers the cost of the bench and materials; the Artist’s time is donated. The bench will have a plaque with your business name, and will be placed at your business for 6 months!
During those 6 months, there will tons of photos opportunities, scavenger hunts, and lots of great social media promotions. This is a wonderful way to promote your business, and bring charm and beauty to Vienna!
The cost to sponsor a bench is $500. There are only a limited number of benches available, and they will go fast.
