An ogre living happily in isolation has his world turned upside down by the vindictive Lord Farquaad, who exiles fairytale creatures to Shrek’s swamp. They strike up a deal: Shrek rescues a princess in a dragon-guarded tower for Farquaad, and he gets his swamp back. Shrek and a very talkative Donkey set off to save Princess Fiona, and from there the story gets REALLY strange…
