This beloved tale of bravery and friendship follows the journey of young Gerda as she attempts to rescue her best friend Kai from the clutches of the evil Snow Queen. With the help of some unique friends and little magic, Gerda is determined to break the Snow Queen’s spell and melt the ice that has taken hold of Kai’s heart before he is lost to her forever! The Snow Queen returns to Creative Cauldron with a new script and bilingual Spanish inclusion.

The Kids’ Fishing Derby is happening Saturday, March 18, 8am-12pm. This year’s fishing derby will be held at the back of Runnymede Park.
Start an annual family tradition and join us for this special day! Children age 2-15 and their families learn about fishing and experience a relaxing and successful day catching fish. All kids MUST be accompanied by an adult. Limited fishing poles and bait are available for use.

It is storytelling in layers and filled with “Aha!” moments and poignant vignettes, digital media, and an onstage baker. This show serves up an experience and a conversation about equity in America. Part history lesson, part social science revelation, “Makin’ Cake” is a short story about America’s sweet tooth and pathway to salvation (and salivation) and leaves room for dessert and dialogue.
