The Kiwanis Club of Tysons is thrilled to be hosting a polar dip in February to raise money for Reston-area organizations. This event is in partnership with the Lake Anne Washington Plaza Merchants Association (LAWPA).

This year, the goal of the Kiwanis Polar Dip is to raise $25,000 for Food for Neighbors, Friends of Reston, and a variety of Kiwanis Youth Programs in the Fairfax County area. A portion will also benefit Camp Sunshine, a retreat for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.

The Kiwanis Polar Dip will take place Saturday, February 10 at Lake Anne Village Plaza in Reston. Check-in opens at 12:30pm, jumping begins at 2pm.

Attendees can also enjoy the Kiwanis Polar Dip Winter Market, graciously organized by LAWPA. There will be opportunities to shop, as well as children’s crafts and other activities.

Participants can sign up to jump, donate, or create a team today by visiting our website at All participants on-site who raise at least $100 will receive an event t-shirt. Individuals who don’t want to jump are still welcome to donate to the event.
