An outrageously campy musical comedy

A tongue-in-cheek, musical comedy satire, based on the 1936 film of the same name. Reefer Madness tells the cautionary tale of Jimmy Harper and Mary Lane, a wholesome pair of all-American teenager sweethearts, who fall victim to the dangers of the drug menace…MARIJUANA!!! The musical chronicles their downward spiral, filled with evil jazz music, sex, and violence!

Pedal with Petals Family Bike Ride

Back for its second year, Pedal with Petals is going to be bigger than ever. This year’s event will include both an advanced and family bike ride. The advanced ride will start at 9am and the family bike ride will begin at 9:30am. The event will begin and end in the parking lot of The Concourse. Primavera 2024 is the Northern Virginia debut of Alchemy Ballet Company’s new Artistic Director Maestro Luis Serrano. Alchemy Ballet fuses various artistic elements to highlight dynamic interdisciplinary and cross-cultural collaborations aiming to inspire and delight audiences. This program is a compilation of classical, neoclassical, and contemporary choreographies performed by dancers from Alchemy Ballet Company, high-performance students from Alchemy Ballet Academy and special guest artists. 

Alchemy Ballet Company emphasizes training exceptional dancers as they bridge into working as professionals in the industry. These artists are prepared for competitions and auditions for professional ballet companies in the US and abroad.
